Create lifetime memories with our Amazing Horseback Riding adventures! We offer horse rides and treks with gorgeous trails with breathtaking ocean views given by friendly and informative bi-lingual guides. You can ride horses on the beach, in the jungle, or both, your choice. We have horses and options available for all skill levels from beginner (never ridden before) to advanced. Free horseback riding instructions for inexperienced riders included before the ride. Helmets are available. We are just a few minutes’ drive from the main street in Playas del Coco. 1 Hour Jungle and Ocean View ride the ridgeline to see a stunning view of the whole Papagayo Bay with wildlife and monkeys often sighted, approximately 1 hour. Great for younger kids to ride with a parent. Please note that we charge per person, not per horse.
1 Hour and 40 Minutes Beach and jungle ride with a stunning ocean view, then through the jungle to ride on the beach with wildlife and monkeys usually sighted. Splash in the waves with your horse if you wish. This is our most popular ride. Approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
1 Hour and 45 Minutes Moonlight Horse Ride and Gallop on the Beach available when there is not a full moon. It goes to a gorgeous lookout, overlooking the ocean, then down to ride on the beach for an optional gallop across the desserted beach. 1 Hour 45 minutes • Super Relaxing Experience with the Cool Breeze • Good for all Ages!
2 Hour Full Moon Beach and Ocean view nighttime rides are available within 3 days before or after a full moon. • Ride on the romantic beautiful moon-lit beach, which is often deserted at night, approximately 2 hours. Book well in advance to avoid disappointment as this is only offered once a month.
3 Hour Beach, jungle & lunch ride with a picturesque ocean view, ride through the jungle, then ride on the beach with a delicious relaxing lunch included at Father Roosters beachfront restaurant, approximately 3 hours total with 2 hours horseback riding.
3 Hours Swimming on Your Horse for Intermediate and up riders only. Approximately 3 hours• Excitement of a lifetime! • Feel the Power of Your Horse Propelling through the Water!

Children 6 years and older may ride their own horse and have the option to be led by a guide. Under 6 years old may go on rides in the saddle with an adult, but please note that rates are per person, not per horse.
Free Cancelation: Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund
Arrive: 30 minutes before your scheduled ride in order to meet your horse, adjust stirrups and give riding instructions. Please pay particular attention to our directions. Following Google will get you lost and cause you to be late.
Maximum weight is 260 pounds, or 115 kilos.
Helmets are available upon request but not required.
Good to Know: Bring insect repellant. Wear long pants OR shorts, and shoes that won’t fall off. Bring a bottle of water for longer rides and your camera.
