Volunteering in Costa Rica

If you are thinking of volunteering in Costa Rica for a few hours or a day, please come and help! Our day volunteers are important in helping with repairs, maintenance, bottle feeding baby animals, taking out guided horse tours, cheering for the kids during their free equine therapy, special projects, or just getting their hands dirty in the gardens.  We love our local volunteers and appreciate their help greatly! We welcome you to come and help us out for a few hours whenever you have time. We can use the help of individuals, couples, families, schools, up to large groups.

If you would like to come and help, it’s best to come for a tour first, then you can better understand how our farm operates. You can see all the different tasks we have available and bigger projects that need to be completed. You can then choose what fits best with your skills, knowledge or passion. Just let us know that you are here to help and we will put you to work! For groups of five or more, it’s best to let us know a day or two ahead of time so that we can have work planned for you to do. We thank you for not just being a “tourist”, but giving back to the community you are vacationing in. Volunteering in Costa Rica can be a very rewarding experience!
