Simple Step-by-Step Instructions to Raise Funds for The Monkey Farm

We are the only rescue center in the World, (that we are aware of), that does not charge its volunteers to live and learn at the farm. Still, we need funding to keep it all going and to meet our goals.
For example, we don’t have very much space for volunteers to sleep indoors. Fortunately, many volunteers are so eager to come and help, that they offer to bring a tent and camp out. While that’s extremely generous of them, we’d rather take better care of our volunteers and keep them comfortable, since they are our best asset. We would be nothing without them. We’d like to be able to provide another indoor shelter for them to sleep.
Many people have asked how they can help, and we’ve determined that the best way you can help right now is to host a fundraiser for us. We’ve made it easy for you! This can be done very simply using our step-by-step instructions. 4 Easy Steps:
- Contact us to tell us you would like to sponsor or host a fund raiser. We will then send you a current list of the items or projects for which we need funding. There are items from $500 and up.
- Choose a specific item or project from our list that you would like to raise money for and tell us what it is. We try to provide variety so that you can choose something that YOU can be passionate about!
- We will set up a page specifically for your personal fund raiser. We will tell people everything they need to know about us and our goals. We’ll do it all for you.
- Share the link to the page with your friends and family. How simple is that?
As donations are made, there will be a progress indicator on the page showing how much you have raised and who has donated (unless they choose to remain anonymous). You will be informed at all times how you are doing, right there on the page and can check it as often as you like. If you’re ready to choose your project, contact us now!

Q: How does The Monkey Farm get the money?
A: As soon a donation is made, the money will instantly go into The Monkey Farm’s PayPal account and be readily accessible to us.
Q: Can donors get a write off on their income taxes?
A: We are a U.S. registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, ID #81-1664389, and also a registered NGO in Costa Rica. Please check with your local accountant to verify this qualifies in your country.
